Current Jackpot Value: £89.00
Number of Keys Remaining: 14
There is a Treasure Chest every Saturday evening with tickets £1 each. The draw takes place between 10.30pm and 10.45pm. There is a guaranteed cash prize of £50 but, more importantly, the winner has the opportunity to select an envelope in the hope it contains the key to open the Treasure Chest itself and win the cash jackpot. There are initially 14 envelopes/keys and each week the jackpot isn’t won the number of keys decreases, but not going lower than five.
If the Treasure Chest is not been opened, the jackpot naturally increases. In addition, 10% of the week’s proceeds are kept separate to create a reserve jackpot for when the jackpot is won and thereby creating a new start jackpot total. A number of years ago, the Treasure Chest jackpot reached over £9,000 and we were lucky enough to start the next one with over £2,000 built up in the reserve jackpot.
